There is a sacred kind of truth that lives inside your body. A quiet knowing. A voice that has been whispering to you for years—sometimes through intuition, sometimes through tension, and sometimes through silence.

That voice is your inner wisdom, and it’s waiting to be heard.

Writing has always been a cornerstone of my healing journey.

From my early days as a pre-teen scribbling in a Scooby-Doo journal to the deeper, more intentional journaling I do now, writing has been a constant companion—one that has helped me make sense of myself and the world around me.

During COVID, my practice evolved. Journaling became more than a daily habit—it became a lifeline. It was how I stayed grounded in reality, sorted through the mental noise, and released whatever I didn’t want to carry anymore. Some days, it was messy and chaotic, and that was the medicine.

Eventually, I began combining my journaling with intuitive practices. I’d open my Akashic Records, meditate, and then write from that space of deep connection. Some of what came through was way out there—but every single word helped me anchor more deeply into my human experience.

Writing brings me comfort, clarity, and release. And sometimes, when I’m working through something especially heavy, I’ll even tear the page out and burn it. I know—sacrilegious to us journal lovers who adore crisp, clean pages—but trust me, it’s powerful.

Now, I invite you to join me.
Let’s come together in community and heal through writing. Let’s explore what’s inside, move through it with intention, and let the words lead us home.

Introducing: Wisdom Writing Wednesdays
Starting this week, I’m inviting you into a 90-minute healing session designed to reconnect you with that deep well of inner knowing. Every Wednesday evening from 6–7:30pm at SoNew Yoga, we will gather as a community to move, breathe, write, and remember that the wisdom has always been within.

This isn’t your typical writing class—it’s a healing journey. Each session begins with gentle movement and breathwork to shake off the day, release stored tension, and open the energetic pathways. We’ll move the emotions out of our bodies before we pick up the pen. Because healing begins with feeling. And from that space—clear, grounded, open—we write.

Why Writing Is a Powerful Tool for Healing

Writing is not just expression—it’s transformation.

There is a direct connection between the act of writing and the healing of the mind, body, and spirit. Studies show that expressive writing can:

  • Reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression

  • Improve immune function

  • Lower blood pressure

  • Enhance memory and mental clarity

  • Promote emotional regulation and resilience

When we write from a place of presence and intention, our stories become sacred medicine. We get to release the narratives that no longer serve us. We give voice to the ones that have been buried. We access deeper truths that may not have found their way into words—until now.

What to Expect in Class

Each Wisdom Writing Wednesday session includes:

  • Gentle somatic movement and breathwork to release stuck energy

  • Guided meditation and intention setting

  • Writing prompts that spark reflection and revelation

  • Time to journal freely or explore creative expression

  • Optional sharing within a supportive, nonjudgmental circle

Whether you're a seasoned writer or haven't picked up a pen in years, this space is for you. There’s no pressure to be perfect—only the invitation to be present and honest with yourself.

Come As You Are. Leave Feeling Lighter.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. You don’t need to be a poet or a healer or even “spiritual.” You just need to be willing to show up. Your story, your voice, your presence—they’re enough.

Join me for Wisdom Writing Wednesdays, from 6–7:30pm.
Space is limited to keep the experience intimate and healing.
